It is now official that H.E.A.T will enter Studio Bohus in November with Grammy winning producer Tobias Lindell. We had a very constructive meeting with him and our new record label Gain yesterday, and we're positive that Tobias is the right man to produce the best H.E.A.T album to date!
Gain has signed a record contract with H.E.A.T. The band had their breakthrough in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "1000 Miles" and is worldwide considered to be the new big band in the AOR genre. Classic Rock Magazine (United Kingdom) recently wrote the following about the band's appearance at the Download Festival:
"A full-fledged homage to AOR that belies their youth, H.e.a.t are one of the weekend's unexpected highlights. So free of cynicism are they in their love of their heroes, and so thorough in their attention to detail that the likeable Swedes are totally lost in the moment, and that vibe radiates until it reaches everyone in the tent."
The band will enter the studio in November this year to record their third album which is scheduled for release early next year.
- “Working with Gain has for a long time been one of our dream scenarios. We are more inspired than ever and will take the energy and the time needed for the world to experience the best H.E.A.T album to date”, says Jimmy Jay of H.E.A.T.
- “H.E.A.T has for a long time been at the top of our wish list and it's incredibly fun to finally get to work with the band. They've already laid down a strong foundation in Sweden and around the world. We are confident that together we will be able to lift the band to be the world leader in the AOR genre”, says Mark Tagaris, GAIN.

Despite the heavy rain that fell down on Sunday, we managed to bring the heat onto the Red Bull Stage together with an amazing and enthusiastic crowd! We had a fantastic time at Download Festival and we can't wait to hit the roads once again.
The guys had a drink, chilled down and played 3-4 takes to offer you this simple video of "We're gonna make it to the end" while were all looking forward to the next album.
Dear friends, we've decided to hit the roads for a short while in June this year! Right now we're focusing on the recording and writing on the new album, but we feel that we just have to see your lovely faces before hitting the studio for real.
So, we're heading to England and Germany, and there might be more coming.

We are happy to announce that we have appointed our new booking agent : Mr. Steve Strange of X-ray touring. He works with clients such as : Journey, Foreigner, Coldplay, Eminem and now H.E.A.T. Let us all give Steve a warm welcome to the H.E.A.T-family.
Many have wondered what is going on in the H.e.a.t camp. Well, we're currently putting together a show for H.e.a.t-festival and Firefest, rehearsing as much as we can. After those shows are done we will continue with what we have already started, to write new material for the third album. We're aiming for a release the first half of 2011.
We will keep tweeting about the progress, whether it's about writing songs, playing shows, hitting bars or doing random fucked up things. So be sure to stay tuned on the website for all the goods. More stuff coming up in a few days/weeks.
Hagenburg signs H.E.A.T for exclusive management representation.
Petri H. Lundén at artist-management company Hagenburg has signed an exclusive management agreement with the Swedish AOR hope H.E.A.T.
“As Erik Grönwall, who was already a client of mine, decided to join H.E.A.T a natural dialogue with the new line-up of H.E.A.T became inevitable. Reflection from my first meet was; cool bunch, talent and ambition at top level, I´d like to be part of this journey and now I am” says Petri H. Lundén who is also managing amongst others The Cardigans, Europe and more.
“We´re incredibly happy to have the opportunity to co-operate with a management that is proven and established. With Petris and all of Hagenburgs competence we are convinced that H.E.A.T will rise to heights no-one dared to wish upon and this co-operation will not accept anything less than success” says Jimmy Jay of H.E.A.T
